Healthy Weight Coach Training Programme
We are pleased to advise that Izzy our GP Assistant has completed her Healthy Weight Coach training programme and now holds the skills to support patients manage their weight.
A healthy weight coach will engage and support patients living with overweight or obesity to help you make positive changes to your health and health behaviours to promote a healthier weight. Izzy will be well-placed to signpost or, where appropriate, refer you to weight management services where required.
Supporting patients to move towards a healthier weight can have important benefits to the health and wellbeing of the individual seeking support and reducing ill-health related to overweight and obesity.
