Currently, we are experiencing a high demand for blood tests. In order to provide patient choice and to prioritise according to clinical need, we are offering the facility for patients who require a non-urgent blood test, to attend at a local hospital/clinic of their choice. These are available at www.uhdb.nhs.uk/phlebotomy-blood-test-clinics.
Patients will need to take a blood form to the appointment which will be sent to via text message for printing or patients will need to come to the surgery to collect this form. Please note we have been advised that if patients do not have their form, the blood test will not be taken at hospital/clinic.
