The Department for Education are pleased to share that bookings are now open for Derbyshire’s ‘It’s About Me” Holiday Activities and Food Programme for Easter 2026.
ABOUT THE PROGRAMME: Funded by the Department for Education, the HAF programme provides free, fun-filled holiday clubs for eligible children across Derbyshire. Sessions include:
Engaging activities such as sports, arts and crafts, dance, music, and cooking
Opportunities to learn new skills and socialise
A healthy, nutritious meal at every session
The Easter programme runs Monday 30 March – Friday 10 April 2026 (excluding bank holidays).
ELIGIBILITY: Children can access a funded HAF place if they:
Are aged 4–16
Are in full-time education, and
Are eligible for benefits-related free school meals
If you are working with a child who does not meet these criteria but would benefit from attending, a referral can be made using the programme referral form:
