We are excited to announce that Newhall Surgery will be launching a new online booking system named Rapid Health. Rapid Health is an appointment booking and triage tool approved by the NHS.
We have listened to patient feedback and recognise that access to appointments, including online booking is important to our patients. With the ever-growing demand within the NHS, we are continuously looking at ways we can increase capacity. To achieve this, and ensure patients are receiving the best possible care, we have opted to use the Rapid Health triage tool which will allow us to maximise availability and ensure patients are seeing the right clinician in the appropriate time frame.
Before the launch of Rapid Health, the Practice will be sending a text message to all patients with a mobile device requesting they update or confirm their e-mail address (an email address will be required to use Rapid Health). Those who are unable to respond to the text may contact the Practice via telephone or email: ddicb.newhallenquiries@nhs.net with their update. The Practice will contact those without mobile devices separately. Patients contacting the Practice throughout March may be asked to confirm their e-mail address to ensure the information held is up to date and also verified.
The Rapid Health appointment booking and triage tool will be used for requesting appointments with General Practitioners, Trainee Doctors and Advanced Clinical Practitioners only. All other appointments will continue to be arranged either through our current on-line booking system or by telephoning the Practice.
